Buenos Aires is actually not such a big city. It gives you a feeling of a big mess or a mix of everyone and everything. But in the end it manages to be tiny and cute, like most female tango dancers in microcentro and la boca.
Spring in Buenos Aires is full of flowers, colours and bird's songs that you can enjoy despite all industrial noises and daily fights of porteños. To escape from them you only need to find a narrow little street among high buildings, that leads you to some small park. and there you find your peace, nice people and sometimes important life moments...
This spring in Buenos Aires could be marked with a velvet colour. It belongs to jacaranda, a gorgeous tree blossoming all around the city. I guess, i will remember my sweet november 2011 as a velvet spring of jacaranda. The tree, i watched while walking slowly in Palermo and Belgrano, or being stuck in a traffic jam in Santa Fe, or holding someone´s hand and simply enjoying the moments that will never come back again.
In few weeks or maybe even days we won´t see jacaranda blossoming anymore. So maybe we should walk slower, get out of the buses, find narrow streets and hold someone´s hand stronger. Because one day spring will be over. And jacaranda flowers as well.
